Little Steps (ages 3-5) (5-6)
Tap, Ballet & Tumbling. This class runs 30mins,once a week.
Level Classes, Students are placed by ability. Unlimited dancing classes listed below.
Family Discounts available to families with two or more children for all level classes.
Beginner 1
Tap, Jazz, & Ballet. This class runs one hour, once a week. .
Beginner 2
Tap, Jazz, Ballet , Musical Theatre & Hip-Hop classes.
Intermediate Classes
Students are introduced to Rhythm Tap, as well as Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, Intro to Pointe, Musical Theatre & additional Conditioning classes.
*Students ages 11 & up may sign up for a solo or duet. Students may request an instructor. Solo/Duo's are $10.00 per half an hour, $20.00 for full hour.
Advanced
Rhythm Tap, Kick-line Tap, Jazz & Conditioning, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical & Ballet/ Pointe. Students also have additional Yoga, Pilates & Ballet Classes TBA.
Dance Company
(Ages 18 & over) those who are interested in continuing dance on a professional level. Classes/Choreography consist of Tap, Jazz, Lyrical,Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop & Musical Theatre. Company class runs two to three hours, once to twice a week. For additional info contact Steppin' Out.
College,Community & Adult Classes
(Ages 18 & over) Basic Dance workout/ conditioning Classes are offered starting
May 17th contact us for more information.
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
By Phone: Simply call the studio at 540-514-2575 to register over the phone. Class space is limited; therefore, a student will not be enrolled in a class until payment for the first month’s tuition, along with the registration fee, is paid.
By Mail: Simply mail the registration form and a check or money order payable to the mailing address on the registration form. Class space is limited; therefore, a student will not be enrolled in a class until both forms are received through mail.

In-Person: In-Studio Registration will take place in August. Please remember that classes may fill early, so it is recommended that registration be completed online, over the phone or through the mail as soon as possible.
Annual Registration Fee:
New Students: A $20.00 registration fee is due upon registration for new students and families.
Returning Students: A $20.00 registration fee is due upon registration for returning students and families.
Monthly Payments: All monthly tuition payments are due the first of each month.
Semester Payments: are available to those who have been in good standing with us,payment wise. 3 installments are due throughout the year. You will need to contact an Instructor to see if you quailify.
Family Discounts: are available to a household of 2 or more students. This is to be set up during registration and can only be done through a written contract.
FEES
Late Fees: A late fee of $10.00 will be added to any tuition account which is paid after the due date. If tuition falls past due by more than 30 days, your child will be asked to observe class until payment is made.No additional notice will be provided to you regarding due dates for tuition. It is your responsibility to be aware of these dates.
Returned Check Fee: A $25.00 fee will be charged to your account for any check which is returned by your bank for insufficient funds.




REFUNDS & WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Refund Policy: Tuition and fees are non-refundable. Refunds will not be given for days missed due to absences, holidays or weather-related closings. Credit may be given in the event of a medical emergency and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Withdrawal Policy: We require 30 days written notice from the 1st of the month if you are withdrawing from a class or classes. If you withdraw in the middle of the month without giving notice by the 1st of the month, you will be required to pay the following month’s tuition. There is a $50.00 drop out fee applied to those who withdrawl from classes between the months of January-May.
Tuition is the same amount each month regardless of the lessons in that month.Tutition is due the 1st of the month.
After 5 days there will be a $5.00 late fee, 10 days, $10.00 and so on.
Students will not be allowed to dance unless tuition is paid in full each month.
RECITAL FEE
A $25.00 recital fee is due by April 1st. This recital fee includes the purchase of the auditorium rental, lighting ,sound equipment,scenes/sets, securtiy and backstage refreshments. The recital and registration fees are non-refundable and are per child, unless you are under a family discount rate.
STUDIO POLICES
Attendance & Make-Up Classes: Students should contact Ms. Natalie, or an Instructor if they are not going to be present in class. Classes missed by students without prior notification to the Instructor may not be made up. If a class is missed arrangements will be made by the instructor and a class will be rescheduled. If a student can not attend that particular make-up class, Instructors will not be responsible to hold another class.
Classes are for students only. Parents are permitted to wait in the lobby of the gym. Parents please do not wait outside the door. There are gym members and staff that are working with clients and we need to keep that space open. Often we will have the door shut, especially for the younger-age students.
Punctuality: Students must be regular and punctual in their class attendance. Students who arrive after the completion of warm-ups may be asked to observe that class at the discretion of the teacher. Students should be picked up within 5 minutes of the end of their class.
*** NOTICE***
Note to Parents: If you wish to speak with an instructor or have a question or suggestion, please contact an instructor via email or by phone. Do not stop an instructor before or after dance class to talk. Instructors are sometimes coming from or going to another job,or practice and are just making it right at class time or need to leave asap.
Steppin' Out does not permit it's Instructors to do outside Choreography with the permission of the Director.
Canceled Classes: Classes may be canceled during the winter months due to the weather. An independent decision will be made prior to the start of classes and a cancellation notice will be placed on our voice mail message once the decision to close has been made. Please call Ms Natalie or listen to WFRB prior to leaving your home to determine whether your class has been canceled. Classes which are canceled due to the weather may be made up as described above.
Holidays: Holidays are in posted in the studio calendar. Classes scheduled for days on which holidays fall are accounted for in the payment schedule and therefore may not be made up.

Leotard: Solid color
Tights: Light pink, or Black
Shoes: Pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes
Hair: Ponytail or bun
BEGINNER / INTERMEDIATE/ ADVANCED
Leotard: Any color or style
Tights: Light pink, Black or Nude
Warm-ups: Dance shorts, ballet skirts, leg warmers are acceptable.Sweat pants, or Capri's. Tights at all times.
Shoes: Pink leather ballet , black split sole tap shoes, tan jazz shoes.
Hair: Ponytail or bun bangs out of face.
Hip-Hop Classes:
Loose Comfortable Clothing,Sweat pants etc..

We will not accept:
DANCE COSTUMES, Jeans, Sweatshirts, t-shirts -are only for warm-ups. Instructors are different, students should follow this dress code.
Adult Classes:
The dress code for our adult classes is relaxed. Please wear what you are comfortable in
but be sure that the instructor will be able
to see your form/alignment.
Shoes are the same as described above.
Male Students:
All classes: Any type of t-shirt, loose comfortable pants or shorts. Shoes are the same as above, except black ballet shoes replace pink. Tennis shoes are fine for hip-hop.
Jewelry: Students may not wear bracelets, watches, dangling earrings or necklaces into classes. Please cover all body piercings or remove them during class.

the specified attire may be asked to observe
that class at the discretion of the teacher
Discard Policy
Steppin' Out reserves the right to cancel the enrollment of a child for any
of the following reasons:
Non-payment or numerous late payment of fees.
Disobeying rules/polices of the studio.
Child has special needs which we cannot meet at that time.
Verbal/Physical Abuse from any student or parent.
Parents actions- going against studio rules,directors instructions etc.
