Policies

Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class. We do keep attendance records for all our students; however, it is not a monitoring system, and they are not 100% accurate. Missed classes may not be deducted from tuition payments. Due to student-teacher ratios, make-up classes are not available.

There is a non-refundable $35 registration fee per new student, $30 for current students, for all regular season classes.

Tuition is due on the first of every month regardless of holidays or studio closings. Tuition is based on the number of hours a student chooses to dance. No additional notice will be provided to you regarding due dates for tuition. Email reminders are sent out at the first of the month. It is your responsibility to be aware of these dates. Refunds and Withdrawal Tuition and registration fees are non- refundable. Refunds will not be given for days missed due to absences, holidays, or weather-related closings. Credit may be given in the event of a medical emergency and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If a student decides to withdrawal from classes without notice, tuition is still your responsibility until we are properly notified.

Payments

Your first tuition payment is due the week before fall classes begin on August 21st-Tuition payments can be mailed, dropped off at the studio We accept cash and checks please make payable to Steppin’ Out.

Late Payments

After 5 days tuition is considered late, and a $10 late fee is applied. If tuition falls past due by more than 10 days your child will be asked to observe class until payment is collected. If tuition falls past due after 1month, your child’s slot could be lost.

The studio has two recitals per year. A winter recital and end of year (spring recital). To help lessen the burden of a large costume bill at once, we require two costume deposits: one in the fall, and one in the spring. A deposit of $30 is due on September 20th, and remaining balances must be paid in full by Nov.7th. A spring deposit is due on January 20th in the amount of $30 and remaining balances must be paid by March 1st.
